AB We report two opposite-sex siblings with the severe infantile form of nemaline myopathy; diagnoses were made on muscle biopsy. Neither parent showed clinical or electromyographic evidence of myopathy, and both had negative muscle biopsies. Autosomal recessive inheritance seems likely.
