Description

A 47-year-old Romanian man was addressed to our department for severe hyperglycemia (22.5 mmol/L; HbA1c at 10.1%), leading to the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes in a context of android obesity with a body mass index of <25, 49.5 kg/m², hepatic steatosis and hypertriglyceridemia (6.02 mmol/L).
