CASE REPORT
A 42-year-old tribal male patient presented with chief complaint of single, painless raised lesion over left forearm since 1 week. There was a history of fever for 3 days associated with chills and rigors. There was no history of breathlessness or any gastrointestinal symptoms. Patient gave the history of sudden death of a goat at his home and involved in slaughtering with bare hands, cooking and eating it 2 weeks prior to the onset of lesions. All the family members were examined and showed no similar lesions. Systemic examination was within normal limits. On cutaneous examination, there was a single, painless, well-defined ulcerative plaque with central black eschar surrounded by extensive oedema over the dorsum of left forearm …
