Multiple xanthomas in a young male with familial hypercholesterolaemia

A 15-year-old boy with a history of familial hypercholesterolaemia was admitted for a check up. The diagnosis of hypercholesterolaemia was made at the age of 2 years. He had a strong family history of premature coronary artery disease, with one of his first degree relatives dying at the age of 17 years.
