Primary allergy to monocomponent porcine insulin.

    Abstract

    An allergic reaction, occurring in a patient who has been put on monocomponent insulin for the first time, is extremely rare. A case of primary allergy to monocomponent porcine insulin, and its subsequent management, is described here.
